Rights & Responsibilities
As a student, you have the right to certain consumer information. For more details, visit the university Consumer Information webpage. Also, as a financial aid recipient, you have the responsibility to:
- Read and understand all aspects of the Terms and Conditions you complete when accepting your financial aid and/or scholarships.
- Be aware of and adhere to all published deadlines.
- Be responsible for reading, understanding and complying with the information that appears on all forms that you sign.
- Complete and submit all required forms accurately and in a timely manner.
- Read and understand the financial aid eligibility requirements (undergraduate or graduate).
- Read and understand the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements for financial aid eligibility (undergraduate or graduate).
- Read and understand the Title IV Return of Funds regulations that are addressed, in part, via the Withdrawing & Attendance webpage.
- Report changes in name, postal mailing address, email address and phone number to the University Registrar’s Office.
- Report to Financial Aid and Scholarships any additional financial resources received during the period of your financial aid.
- Accept responsibility for all agreements you sign.
- Be aware of the school's refund policy.
- Notify your lender if any of the following occurs before you complete repayment of your student loan:
- Graduation
- Withdrawal from school
- Less than half-time enrollment
- Change of address
- Name change
- Transfer to other school(s)
- Complete exit counseling, if a student loan borrower, when you:
- Graduate
- Withdraw from school
- Enroll less than half-time
