Scholarship Application

As an academically-talented freshman, you may apply for three categories of scholarships at Texas State—National, Assured and Competitive Scholarships. Scholarships in these categories include the full-ride Terry Foundation Scholarship and $40,000 National Merit Scholarship. Be sure to read the following application and deadline information to ensure you maximize your scholarship opportunities at Texas State. 

National Scholarships and Assured Scholarships

To be considered for the National Scholarships and Assured Scholarships, you must apply for admission to Texas State. Once admitted, your academic credentials will be reviewed for the National Scholarships and Assured Scholarships. If you meet the minimum eligibility requirements for the National Scholarships and/or Assured Scholarships, an award letter from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will be mailed to you shortly after you are admitted to Texas State.

Competitive Scholarships

To be eligible to apply for this category of scholarship, you must apply for admission to Texas State then submit your Freshman Scholarship Application via the Bobcat Online Scholarship System (BOSS) by December 15, prior to your first summer/fall semester.
